Lost II

The interactive sound light installation

Lost II is an interactive sound light installation, designed by Ninja Guru Art Studio and originally presented at Fifteen Seconds Festival 2019.

Nowadays, in the time of meta-modernism and critical attitude of audience to contemporary art there is no better word, then ‘lost’ which can describe the global mood of modern society. Fear of taking responsibility and fear of getting lost and having no possible way out of this routine. Lost II accumulates all the thoughts about fears and problems of modern society and brings it into the other meta level, the level of abstraction, and represents it with the basic mechanisms of human perception.

Lost II is a motion sound light picture, created by audience though the interaction. It brings its users' attention to differences between cold and warm light, natural and synthetic sounds, regular and irregular motions and connection between these elements through interaction. Lost II recreates a feeling of being lost, but in a world of abstraction, and at the same time this installation gives an opportunity to each visitor to overcome this feeling.
